Grrrr to Blogger!!

For some reason Blogger has decided to change the way we can blog and upload picuters.

It used to be very simple and convenient by being linked w/ Picassa which had an easy system for me to upload pictures.

I haven't posted new pictures because I have to change to a new way of posting that I haven't figured out yet.

Takahiro's first food was rice ceral.
He loved it. He kept opening his mouth like a baby bird!

He has been eating rice ceral for about a week and so far I have just tried org.anic sweet potatos from a jar and rice ceral. He seems to like the creamy rice ceral the best.

When he first tried sweet potatos he made some funny faces and jumped and wiggled

Sometimes he dances and claps while eating which makes it challenging to feed him without making a huges mess! Posted by Picasa

* * * * Snow Day!! * * * * *

Yay! Mommy got an extra day to play and cuddle with Takahiro. It kept trying to snow for a few days but kept melting. It dropped into the 20's last night so the snow and slick ice stayed.

It was a beautiful bright and sunny yet very cold day.
Takahiro has learned how to clap!
We ventured out into the yard once to check out the snow.

Thanksgiving Weekend

This Thanksgiving we drove up to Canada's Harrison Hot Springs http://www.harrisonresort.com/

We took Takahiro in the pools. The outside pools were not quite warm enough to justify wearing just a bathing suit as it was snowing. We used the indoor pools. The larger pool was about 90 F and the smaller hotter pool was about 105 or so.

On the way back we almost got stuck in Canada due to the accumlating snow.

We pushed through and soon the snow turned to rain and we made it safely back to Seattle.

I'll have to post some pics of today's snow. Schools were closed today due to all the icy roads so Takahiro and I stayed home.

Busy Boy

Takahiro has been a very busy boy these days. He can now grab objects pretty well as of last weekend.

I filled up this basket with his toys and he had fun grabbing everything out and examining each toy.

I have since changed to a plastic basket as he starting picking up the whole wicker basket and was trying to chew on it.

Today he rolled over for the first time!! We cheered him on. Now everytime he gets ready to roll over he turns to see if we are watching and ready to clap for him.

I think he knows his name now too because when I say it he stops what he's doing and smiles at me.

At his last check up he was 17 lbs and in the 92nd percentile for heigth.

I'll try not to take so long again to post pictures.

First Friend!

Takahiro is chatting away with Isabella who is just 2 days younger than him.

They both have the same sense of humour;
like to be surprised and like blowing raspberries!

Halloween Pics!

Finally Takahiro's costume pictures! I apologize for not posting lately. These pictures are not actually from the 31st since that day was kind of nightmarish for him as he recieved 5 shots (vaccination) . He didn't wear his costume too long and understandably was not in the mood for photos.

I took these pictures the other day. Takahiro had a blast looking at himself in the mirror!

We also went outside to surprise daddy while he was doing yardwork. We are glad daddy didn't run over his foot while mowing the yard as he wasn't expecting to see an adorable blue alien (stitch) grinning at him.

1st time swimming!!

We took Takahiro swimming this weekend.

The aquatic center in Bellevue has a 90 degree pool so it was warm enough for us on a fall rainy day.
