Theo's Smiles

The other night Theo smiled for the first time. It was so cute! His smiles are brief and infrequent but we are seeing more and more of them.

One day he looked at Elf, our cat's face and smiled. I think he was expecting the cat to return his smile like Mom and Dad do.

It's hard to capture his smiles w/ the camera, here was one attempt below. Posted by Picasa

1st Father's Day

Theo painted his feet with non-toxic blue water color paint and imprinted his feet to make a card which he surprised daddy with. Posted by Picasa

Pass him around!

Theo looks like a doll while Teru holds him. For some reason Theo was straightening his legs.
Auntie Maya holding Theo.
Theo loves his Auntie Maya! She knew just how to calm him down when he was cranky.

(We are hoping Maya will take us up on our request for her to move into our house! hehehe) Posted by Picasa

Family Time!

Grandpa holding Theo at the hospital hours after his birth.

The picture with Grandma also has a an exposed and nursing mom in it so I was unable to post it. Sorry Grandma!

Theo napping in the cradle that used to be Mommy's.
Grandma and Grampa carried this via plane all the way from Myrtle Beach.
Mr. Auer helped pack it so it was airline regulation size!

Grandma made the beautiful blue and yellow quilt he is lying on (under the yellow gingham sheet). She also hand-made the bumpers.

Playtime!! Theo is getting a little floor time exercise.

What would we do without this swing?!

Sunday afternoon at the park.

Theo enjoyed his first visit to the park.
The weather was warm and the park was beautiful. We pushed him in the stroller and his eyes were open wide taking in the view of the tall trees and green leaves around him.

He didn't like sitting still like his sleepy mommy and daddy. He wanted us to walk him around either carrying him or pushing him in the stroller! Posted by Picasa

Theo Takahiro at home

Thoughtful Theo
Theo is sleepy and satisfied after feeding.
I went into the bedroom to find Dad and son snoozing peacefully....until I snapped a picture using a flash and startled Theo causing him to wave an arm up in the air. Posted by Picasa
